Abstract
Stochastic model is one of important issues in precise kinematic GPS positioning. Currently several stochastic models have been proposed and applied in precise kinematic GPS positioning. However, different models have different advantages and disadvantanges in terms of performances on the ambiguity resolution. Therefore, it is valuable to compare the effects of different models to ambiguity resolution. In this paper, current GPS stochastic models are analyzed firstly, and three rules are advised to determine which stochastic model should be used in kinematic positioning. Some experimental results are presented to conclude this paper.
