Abstract
e-learning is becoming increasingly important in academic education environments. Although learner-led education has been mentioned as a major advantage of e-learning systems, there is not much effective implementation of this feature. The aim of this work is to present an adaptive e-learning system and to compare the effectiveness of adaptive e-learning strategy based on Gardner´s eight intelligences theory in total, 82 students in two different classes in the fifth grade participated in this work and of these 41 were in the experimental group and 41 were in the control group.
