Abstract
The blood pressure signal of human body cannot be analyzed effectively using signal processing and pattern recognition techniques because the signal has its own characteristics for individual, even for the same person, the signal is not exactly similar collecting at different time. Based on feature extraction using wavelet analyzing and nonlinear mapping of neural network, the relationship between the amplitude of arterial fluctuation and the pressure of cuff can be confirmed, and the blood pressure signal is recognized accurately.
