Abstract :
In this paper, different Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller tuning techniques are investigated for DC motor. Initially PID controller parameters for various tuning techniques are determined and then applied to the DC motor model for speed control. Simulation results are generated, using these controllers, under the same transient conditions and performances are compared.
