  • Abstract
In networked control systems (NCSs), the network-induced delay and data packet loss are the major factors which deteriorate system dynamic performance and potential system stability. NCSs with network-induced delays and data packet losses were investigated in this paper. A system model of NCSs was established through considering a data packet loss as a special kind of network-induced delay. A sufficient condition for NCSs stability was proved by using the Lyapunov method. Through introducing a dynamic feedback controller and solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), we confirmed the total delay including network-induced delays and data packet losses with which the NCSs were stable. The simulations also demonstrate that the conservativeness of the results reduces observably and the proposed scheme is effective.
