Abstract :
In order to provide elevator maintenance workers with knowledge needed, a model of mobile knowledge service in elevator maintenance project is proposed. The model consists of context-awarer, knowledge management system and mobile devices. The context-awarer is contributed to apperceive malfunction information of elevator and knowledge requirements of maintenance workers in time, and capture the maintenance information, which implements accumulation of knowledge based on cases. The knowledge management system provides the workers with necessary knowledge on mobile devices. Application of the model shows that mobile knowledge service improves maintenance efficiency, which is also a new way for elevator maintenance.
