Abstract :
In allusion to the characteristics of infrared CCD imaging, a novel infrared video real-time processing system based on TMS320DM642 DSP chip is proposed in this paper. We analysed the mechanism of real-time processing infrared video, proved the real-time processing performance of DM642 by experiments and designed the system. The system hardware mainly includes video capture module, video processor module, video output module and power module, and the system software mainly includes bootloader, initializer and chip configuration program, and interrupt service routine. Results show that the designed system could process and output the infrared video real-timely. These characteristics in small-sized infrared video real-time processing system design make the system work stably in the field, with cost-effective for being used in the field of infrared imaging detection and embedded machine vision.
