Abstract :
The scalar and tensor Green functions for ID, 2D and 3D periodical PS structures and corresponding integral and integrodifferential equation have been proposed and constructed. The various photonic crystal structures have been. analyzed and simulated using this approach. The bandgap distortion under the influence of loses has been found. The proposed approach may be used to simulate left-handed materials and other periodic structures.
