Abstract :
Summary form only given. In summary, we have presented a new wavelength MUX/DEMUX design implemented with a phased array waveguide grating which flattens the channel passband with moderate increased throughput loss. This design does not involve multi-mode waveguides and is suitable for single mode operation. It can be utilized for both multiplexing and demultiplexing devices.
