Abstract
Man-made electric and magnetic fields are ubiquitous in developed countries and we are all, to varying degrees, exposed to them in our everyday lives. They come from a variety of sources. At low frequencies the most common source is the electricity supply network (which has a frequency of 50 Hz in the UK and 60 Hz in the USA), and appliances directly powered from it. Here, the author examines whether low level, low frequency, electromagnetic fields are actually bad for human health
