Abstract :
A framework of simulation-based optimal design system for steel wire rope is presented in this paper. According to the generic design process of steel wire rope, the work flow of the system is described, and a new steel wire ropespsila optimal design algorithm based on simulation is proposed. An example of practical product design was presented to demonstrate the feasibility and validity of the system.
