Abstract :
According to the engineering practice of civil aircraft spare parts management, in terms of maximize of the service level of civil aircraft spare part and make the inventory of each item reach an excellent level, a model was presented to optimize the aircraft average waiting time, which took the total spare part provision cost as constraint. A heuristic algorithm is given to solve the model based on the analysis of marginal utility of spare part unit cost. An example is illustrated for case study, and the optimized results show that the spare part inventory allocation improved the aircraft utilization significantly. The model is validate and effective.
