Abstract
Distributed video coding enables video coding systems to shift coding complexity from encoder to decoder. In this paper, based on the analysis of different binning methods, we propose a distributed video coding scheme by adaptively combining two binning methods according to the estimated motion activity in video to minimize decoding errors. Simulation results show the improvement of the proposed method over the other binning algorithms
