  • Abstract
Most existing driver steering models consist of a linear function and a time delay element. Driving simulator data, however, indicates the possible existence of “complacency” nonlinearity. Three possible nonlinear structures are investigated to model this effect. The effectiveness of each structure in reducing the model uncertainty is evaluated
