Abstract :
In order to accurately grasp whether the highway construction and the development of regional economy are coordinated, whether conducive to regional economic development, we must make proper evaluation on the status quo of the highway, and to understand the relevant data of highway construction. Based on the mutual influence between highway construction and the regional economic development, an improved mathematical model and the principle of production function model are put forward to study in this paper. A modificatory Solowpsilas growth equation is used to establish a measure of the contribution rate of highway construction to region economic growth. Then the model is calibrated by the data from 1990 to 2003, of Heilongjiang Province to calculate the contribution rate of the development of highway construction to economic growth. The results show, Multi-target production function model in predicting highway construction on Regional Economic Development regarding the reliability of the rate of contribution is a pleasant prospect.
