Abstract :
TOF-NAC PET images produce a superior body contour as compared to non-TOF NAC PET images, thereby leading to more accurate truncation completion in the MR-derived attenuation map. We developed and systematically evaluated a procedure for truncation completion of MR-bases PET attenuation maps using body contours generated from TOF-NAC PET images. Fourteen clinical PET/CT and MR datasets from a tri-modality setup and fourteen PET/CT dual-modality datasets were used for this study.
