Abstract
Day to day rising power demand makes our present technology lean towards non-conventional resources like solar energy. In this paper, it is focused on optimization of solar energy in PV module by servo mechanical tracking system at variable irradiation and temperature conditions. Here the particular time of day and location of PV module is also considered. Focus has been given to make better use of Maximum Power Point Tracking algorithm “Perturb & Observe” with the help of MATLAB Simulink and programming tools. Here, in this work, it basically concentrates on finding out the optimal angle of servo motor by applying an input voltage which is the differential voltage between the corresponding voltage at MPPT value and voltage at calculated solar module power at specified total irradiance at that instant.
