Abstract
The electronic map is the primary means of expressing geospatial information. This article focuses on the dynamic point symbols, line symbols and area symbols to design. The design of dynamic symbol labels in the context of the map is realized through the description of dynamic parameters. We may define different rules and through the changes of rules it will make the display of the map more vivid by making the symbols be exhibited in the form of animation and simulating the trajectories of objects. The users will do spatial orientation at first hand visually and will be easier to understand and apply the information under the background of the electronic map. The expression of map information is more complete, richer and more accurate. It also increases appearance and legibility of the map display.
