Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. Charge relaxation in SrTiO/sub 3/ and KTaO/sub 3/ single crystals was studied by the thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) technique. TSD current measurements of the photo- and thermoelectret state in crystals showed the close relationship of high-temperature peaks to volume charge storage at hole capture centers. The energies of these centers were determined by fractional TSD techniques. The authors obtained three quasi-discrete levels with energies of 0.22, 0.25, and 0.43 eV, respectively, in KTaO/sub 3/. In the case of SrTiO/sub 3/ only one quasi-discrete level with energy of 0.56 eV was determined, but a number of levels with continuous energy distribution in the range of 0.15-0.22 eV were found.<>
