Abstract
Active experimental researches of the Earth´s ionosphere by means of powerful radio frequency transmitters are conduct from the 60s. XX century. Currently, there are several facilities exist, for example, HAARP, EISCAT, “Sura” and SPEAR. The most powerful one is HAARP. For modern powerful RF transmitters radiated power is 103...104 kW and the frequency range 1 - 10 MHz.
