  • Abstract
    Social networking in the present mobile dominion proffers a congruity to challenged networks during periods of scarce resources for communication. The following paper explores this characteristic to implement social networking as a Delay Tolerant system with DTN-based content storage and retrieval. The following paper explores this opportunistic behavior of mobile networks and describes a parallel network architecture called DTSN that operates in two modes - challenged and non-challenged modes. We elucidate the new parallel architecture and determine the necessary conditions to switch between the two modes through simulation and analyze the results.
