Foreword

The very important success of the two former editions of the International Conference on Multimedia Computing and systems, namely, ICMCS´09 and ICMCS´12, which took place respectively in Ouarzazate (or Warzazat), Morocco in April 2–4, 2009 and Tangiers, Morocco in May 10–12, 2012, was a very good incentive for us to launch a third edition of this conference in an effort to make it a regular appointment for graduate students, scientists and engineers, from academia and industry It is indeed a very good opportunity for them to expose their research findings and also to get exposed to the latest and emerging scientific and technological developments and trends in the field of Multimedia theory and technologies.
