Abstract
Examines linear system robustness with respect to modeling errors and disturbances in both the continuous-time (CT) and discrete-time (DT) cases. Two robustness measures are discussed in detail. New expressions for these measures are derived in terms of the eigenstructure of the state matrix. We show that the two robustness measures are finite and bounded for any stable family of linear systems. Examples are given, including special cases that provide insight into the robustness measures
