Abstract

The theoretical aspects of distance learning (DL) system design are considered in the given paper. The paper defines the place of DL in the system of continuous vocational training, features particular qualities of the training process based on the andragogic training model, and necessary conditions for a successful realization of the distance learning system in the Russian higher educational institutions
