Abstract :
The Danish system for calibration of DC voltages up to 10 V is described. Emphasis is on the design and verification of the Josephson array setup and the certified scheme based on Zener references for dissemination of traceability to industry. To correct for offset and linear drift, three null measurements and two array voltage reversals are used in the calibration procedure. The uncorrected thermal voltages and drift originating mainly from the switch box are estimated to be about 1 nV. Calibration of the 10-V terminals is done by means of a high-linearity voltmeter. The nonlinearity of the voltmeter is the major source of error in the method.<>
