Abstract
From last several years, complex networks has been widely studied. Structural properties of network have impact on network function and many techniques are evolved to optimize network. Study of network property includes network efficiency, radius, diameter, average distance, and average clustering. All of these parameters have a direct impact on the function of the network. Finding the graph that optimizes one of them is important while designing a large system. These parameters are affected by random reconstruction or addition of new edges. This work presents procedure to optimize random networks with specified structural properties. In this paper we used Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) to create network with small diameter by adding or removing links.
