Abstract :
Short-term traffic flow prediction is the basis of dynamic traffic control and guidance. The prediction model of short-term traffic flow base on dynamic traffic control theory is proposed by analyzing traffic flow data and adopting neural network and MATLAB software. The dynamic sequential prediction algorithm for traffic flow based on the improved BP algorithm is presented. The applicability and limitations of the algorithm are verified by adopting test results. To apply Neural Network to traffic field is an intelligent choice.
