Abstract
Summary form only given. A technology for a bulk assembly of micro- and nano-scale gold ring structures will be introduced in this talk. Split-ring structure [1] is one of major unit resonators for metamaterials, which can induce extraordinary magnetic permeability upon light transmission through it, thus enables us to obtain an optical material with an extraordinary refractive index. Production of a large-scale metamaterial is essential for it´s commercial use. In our approach, tiny gold particles are facilitated to form ring structures in a large area just by applying external magnetic field.
