Abstract
By analyzing the principle of slip ratio control and the mathematical model of aircraft anti-skid braking system, a braking sliding mode variable structure control (SMVSC) law based on optimal slip ratio control was introduced. The computer simulation is made for an aircraft anti-skid braking system on dry, wet, ice and mixed runway, comparing with the results of fuzzy PID control. The simulation results show that the SMVSC controller is more robust and improves the efficiency of the braking system, which is capable of meeting the requirements of safety, so is worthy of priority application in the aircraft anti-skid braking system control.
