Abstract :
To overcome the impairments associated with signal transport over analog photonic links, we have introduced digitized RF transport scheme for fiber-wireless applications. This transport scheme which is based on bandpass sampling technique ensures that the signal is immune to nonlinear effects arising from the optical link and improves the overall dynamic range. In this paper, we review our recent work on digitized wireless transport for high performance fiber-wireless links.
