Abstract :
Artificial neural network and nonlinear optimal predictive control is combined. Artificial neural network based on nonlinear predictive optimal control scheme is described and the technique is applied in variable air volume system. A predictive model of room temperature is identified with a feed-forward ANN. The temperature of air conditioning room is controlled aimed at minimum temperature deviation and minimum energy consumption by this scheme in Matlab. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of this technique, and in the meantime illustrate that this technique can save energy consumption.
