Abstract :
It is shown that the common eight-port comparator circuit may be constructed as a fully symmetrical junction device. As an example, a planar symmetrical comparator circuit which makes use of microstrip and slotline transmission lines is described. Its diameter may be a wavelength or less at midband. The experimental model is presented.<>
