Abstract
Based on the principle of grey systematic prediction, this paper constructed a discrete grey model of systematic prediction, which extends the application scope of the original grey model of systematic prediction and avoids optimizing the background value. This model is a linear equations set composed of N discrete GM (1, N) models. By using the row elementary transformation, the predicted values can be worked out. By means of computer, this process is very convenient to be operated. Finally, two examples are given to show that the model is feasible, and its simulated results are both good, thus it contributes to make a reasonable prediction.
