  • Abstract
After a noticed introduction of the ldquonanodielectricrdquo concept in 2001, some of the innovative and original elements of the concept are revisited. Although the presence of nanometric objects and the existence of processes with characteristic lengths comprised in the nanoscale existed, the exacerbation of these in a collective manner to affect the dielectrity did not. Some analogies from crystalline dielectrics and considerations based on dendrimers are developed to argue that grains and interfaces in a high degree self-assembly polymer nanodielectric could each play roles.
