Abstract
The expected labor of modern engineering schools is the creation of fully trained professionals. With a new electronic teaching methodology we wish to transmit to the students how the constraints on the work of an engineer are linked to design but also to the development and manufacturing process of any electronic equipment. This teaching methodology is done in collaboration and with the support of three SMEs (small and medium enterprises). In this paper we describe in detail the tasks to be performed by students, with their timing and the skills and knowledge to be acquired, step by step, in its development. Finally, we set the requirements that have been necessary to carry out the project and we discuss the results of the experience and the specific areas to improve in the future.
