Abstract
Traffic-aware dynamic spectrum access (TDSA) can improve spectrum usage efficiency through demand driven spectrum allocation with the aid of cognitive radios. However, selfish behaviors of participants, such as deviation for more spectrum, can decrease the efficiency of TDSA a lot. In this paper, we prevent APs´ deviation in FLEX with trigger punishment in the repeated game. The new TDSA solution can make the participants in FLEX self-enforced to cooperate incentively without deviation. Moreover, this method can also be applied to demand-driven spectrum allocation rules other than FLEX. Simulations show that our scheme can settle the problem in FLEX well, and greatly improve the spectrum efficiency.
