Abstract :
It is truly an honour for me to be appointed as the Technical chair for the 1st IEEE International Conference on Signal and Image Processing Applications (ICSIPA) 2009. Notwithstanding the big responsibility in ensuring the success of such a new conference, I must say that the cooperation I got from the rest of the committee members really make my difficult job an enjoyable one.
