  • Abstract
    In this paper, a robust controller for an airplane with multiple operating points is proposed based on the methodology of sliding mode. A sufficient condition for the existence of linear sliding surface is expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The sliding mode control law with a finite reaching time is deduced in terms of Lyapunov stability theory. The DR-stability of the reduced-order system on the sliding mode surface is proven theoretically. Simulation results show the validity of the robust controller.
