Abstract :
S.B. Cohn´s work in two areas is described: (1) the slot line introduced in 1968: and (2) circuit design by equal-ripple optimization introduced in 1974. An attempt is made to show some of the later applications of slot line in microwave components as well as some of the later applications of the equal-ripple optimization algorithm to the design of various microwave circuits.<>
