Abstract :
Implementation in FPGA of creating general purpose multi-channel signal generator, was developed and tested, based on Xilinx Virtex II Pro XC2VP30 device. Using Digital Clock Managers (DCM) block built in Xilinx Virtex II Pro device, signal generator output frequency range is from several Hz to several hundred MHz with high precision. Analog as well as digital signal can be generated with similar method.
