Abstract
In wireless communication for data integrity hash functions are commonly used. It is also an important cryptographic primitives, which is very critical for data integrity assurance and data origin authentication in security services. SHA hash functions are set of cryptographic hash function designed by NSA. SHA-1 produces message digest that of is 160 bits long. Later it has been identified that security flaws were identified in SHA-1, namely that a possible mathematical weakness might exist indicating that stronger hash function would be desirable. In this paper we propose a new hash function, say SHA-192 that has more strength than the existing.
