Abstract :
In this paper, a new algorithm based on whole annealing genetic algorithm (WAGA) is proposed to search the best polarity of XNOR/OR circuit. By introducing the weighing of power and area in the fitness function, the good compromise of power and area is obtained. The algorithm has been implemented in C and tested on MCNC Benchmark circuits. The experimental results show that the significant reduction of power dissipation and area can be obtained.
