This biennial conference chain was started and sponsored by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, to support its strong vision of mechatronics, and belief in this evolutionary field in dictating tomorrow´s industrial design and manufacturing techniques. Thanks to researchers like you, high performance, high reliability products are already in our everyday life with many more exciting examples to follow. We were glad to see the wide range of quality work presented to this forum with an enthusiasm to address the many challenges of this field, which when adequately confronted will open doors to a higher quality of life for everyone in the world. We greatly appreciate your work and your effort to share it with us here in Istanbul.
