Abstract
In this paper, we propose a tailor made design system for device drivers based on the concept of software product line development. The system helps users to construct a device driver from components corresponding to required features. Each component is represented as a Petri net. The advantage of the system is to reduce the number of specifying composition order based on the properties of Petri nets.
