Abstract :
Simple electroencephalographs (EEG devices), which have recently become commercially available, are portable and wearable, such that they do not restrict a wearer´s actions. This convenience of use enables the inexpensive and wide use of electroencephalography. This study examines the construction of a system that can capture EEG information using simple EEG devices and feed it back to a user. A prototype system has been produced and comparative experiments have been conducted for this study, which feeds back EEG information acquired during memorization work using a simple EEG device. Results revealed differences in the percentages of correct answers for cognitive tasks related to memorization by the existence of the system. Useful data have been obtained as an index for evaluating the extent of memorization. Its usefulness as a system has been verified.
