Abstract :
Eskisehir Military Hospital makes aircrew´s periodic health examinations annually and five yearly. And Aircrew´s Health Research and Training Center give physiological trainings to aircrew five yearly. Physiological Training is necessary, because; pilots who are knowledgeable about physiological phenomena encountered in the aviation environment are better prepared to deal with such potentially fatal in-flight events. In our center we have six physiological training devices; Hypobaric Chamber (Altitude Chamber), Spatial Disorientation Training Device, Human Centrifuge, Night Vision Trainer, Ejection Seat Trainer, Hyperbaric Chamber. Turkish Aeromedical Center´s goal is to achieve an advanced level in physiological training of aircrew and to keep this acquired behavior for future flight safety. Our objectives are; to keep the details of academical training up to date and to upgrade the physiological training devices according to the need of aviation and changing technology.
