Abstract
We have investigated the POD-assisted projective integration method for solving the Navier-Stokes equation based on the equation-free framework. The demonstration of the method is done on the flow past a two-dimensional airfoil(NACA0012) at the Reynolds number of 800. The efficiency of the method in reducing the computational time while maintaining satisfactory accuracy in both transient and periodic solutions is discussed.
