Abstract
The installation of electrical equipment with sensitive electronic devices in a severe electromagnetic environment, requires the implementation of particular protection. This article presents the methodological approach used in the frame of power stations hardening to high altitude nuclear electromagnetic pulse (HA-NEMP) for a distributed protection. The article shows that this method allows optimization of the protection used while taking into account the notions of maintenance and cost
