Abstract
The development of telecommunications systems, and with them the development of necessary power equipment, has also brought new tasks for Hungarian Telecom including modernisation of the old technical requirements of the power supply as well as type approval testing of the new power systems. The PKI Telecom Institute is a participant in both tasks. In this report, the authors describe the aspects of technical requirements, the differences between the old and new systems and requirements, measurements and the activity of the PKI in these domains
