Abstract :
This paper employed the exponential distribution (ED) for the time-frequency representation (TFR) of diaphragmatic electromyogram (EMGdi) and for its characterization. The features extracted from TFR were instantaneous mean frequency (IMF) and instantaneous high-to-low ratios (IH/L). A procedure is presented to examine diaphragmatic muscle fatigue for patients with kyphoscoliosis during different respiratory patterns
